Ally has an extensive background in photography stretching back 40 years, but has always been interested in other media. He is a full-time artist and dedicates his practice to researching and evolving his work with a prime focus on it’s lifestyle benefits. Most recently, Ally has been working with paint, creating abstract works by manually manipulating acrylic paint skins. His work is influenced by ancient and modern civilisations, primitive and modern art, biomorphism, esotericism, nature, oneness, symbolism, the unknown, the everyday, the imagination and the mental health benefits of creating.
